About Joseph

Joseph has always had a passion for helping others to become their best selves. He graduated with Honors in 2011 from Michigan State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. After completing his degree, he served in the College Advising Corps for a year, working to help high school students from a low-income, rural community get to college.

Following this year of service, Joseph left to start a PhD in Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University, which included roles teaching 100 and 200 level courses in career development, as well as gathering 150 hours of clinical training to become a therapist. However, after 2 years, Joseph felt that his calling was elsewhere, and left his PhD program while still completing enough of the program to earn a Master’s Degree.

Joseph’s corporate career began as an implementation consultant at Epic Healthcare Systems, before going on to complete an MBA in Market Research from the University of Wisconsin. Following his MBA, he worked as a Market Researcher at Eli Lilly and Company before being promoted to a Brand Manager. Joseph leveraged this role to become an Engagement Manager at IQVIA, leading Commercial Strategy consulting projects in the Pharmaceutical industry.

More recently, Joseph has pivoted to the Automotive industry and now works as a Product Market Researcher for Ford Motor Company.

Joseph has served 6 years as an Advisory Board member for the Michigan State University Master’s of Market Research and Analytics program. He has also been a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and has been a big for 6 years.
